Masonry Painting
Before painting, we will assess the condition of the property exterior condition to see what type of work needs to be done. On occasion, when there is masonry deterioration, we will have to repair any cracks, crumbles, or holes before we can proceed with the painting, to ensure a seamless and professional finish.
Exterior House Paint
There are a couple of steps to be undertaken and factors are considered when painting the exterior of a house.
☑ We will repair any masonry or woodwork.
☑ We will assess the need for ladders and safety scaffolding for those hard-to-reach areas
☑ Ideally, we paint the exterior of properties on dry days.
☑ We will then wash down the walls ensuring they are free from dirt and debris.
☑ We will prepare and prime the area.
☑ We will then begin to paint using weatherproof paint to guarantee longevity.
☑ We will leave it to dry and go over any areas where the paint has ‘soaked’ through and will apply a second coat of masonry paint if required

Exterior Painting FAQs
Do you paint pebbledash exterior walls?
Yes. We will spray your pebbledash exterior walls using weatherproof paint.
I have booked in to get my commercial property painted, but it’s raining. Will you still come and paint it?
No. There is no point in painting whilst it is raining as the finished result will not be up to our high-quality craftsmanship standard. We will reschedule for another day as soon as possible.
Can you use regular house paint on the exterior?
We do not recommend using interior paint on the exterior. It is a different blend, much of which is water-based and will be damaged when exposed to the elements.
